Our central check-in area can be quickly converted into an approx. 1,000 m² event location and offers sufficient space for your guests. Some check-in counters will be closed and passengers will be redirected to the front counters. The locations boasts a panoramic view encompassing the north runway, the tower, the apron and the A14 highway, evoking an authentic airport ambiance. There are plenty of counters for guest registrations or catering, sanitary facilities, checkrooms and parking spaces. The space is accessible to the public and cannot be fully soundproofed.

The Terminal Lounge (260 m²) is located directly in the arrivals and departures terminal, and is equipped with a rollable 86'' TV monitor. The room can be used for up to 100 people in row seating and up to 200 people in standing banquet seating. The rear corners of the lounge provide cozy seating arrangements and accommodate group activities. The three vibrant Colorama screens stand out as a distinctive focal point. As a result, you can reach the airport quickly and directly. Our prices are moderate and our services are geared towards your needs. Leipzig/Halle Airport is designed for easy access for people with restricted mobility. They can use the toilets, lifts, phones, shops, eateries and other facilities without encountering any barriers.

Leipzig/Halle Airport has more than 5000 parking spaces. These can be made available to event guests on request.
The airport tour starts with a trip round the apron area after the security checks. Visitors can enjoy the varied procedures used to prepare a passenger aircraft for take-off during this time. We then pay a short visit to the airport fire brigade. Passing by the fuel depot and the noise protection hangar for testing jet engines, the tour continues to the southern area of the airport. During the trip through the DHL site, guests obtain information about handling cargo aircraft and goods – and the various items of equipment and the infrastructure.
Once the controllers from the German Air Traffic Control Service have provided clearance, the bus takes you on a trip along one of the two runways at speed. The tours can be organised in line with your wishes and become an unforgettable experience, for example, with a demonstration of the fire simulator.
It is possible to get free WiFi in our conference rooms.
Protecting the environment is of central importance to Flughafen Leipzig/Halle GmbH. The airport is actively involved in nature conservation and coordinates closely with the relevant authorities. Since 2009, the air quality has been checked by biomonitoring with bee colonies, which has already resulted in 10 bee colonies being established in the surrounding area. A new forest is also being created between Leipzig/Halle Airport and Schkeuditz, for which the reforestation of a 28-hectare area with around 200,000 native trees began in 2015.
Our Marché restaurant with up to 120 seats is located in the terminal, perfect for a culinary lunch break or an enjoyable dinner. In our conference rooms you are free to choose your catering.
