Congresses and conferences in Leipzig: Highlights of 2024

Leipzig is one of Germany’s most popular destinations for congresses and conferences. In addition to ultra-modern venues in historic locations, exciting supporting programmes and the city’s central location in Europe, there are many more strong reasons why organisers choose Leipzig as a venue for their events.

The jam-packed congress calendar for the year 2024 speaks for itself. Here we present some of the highlights of these conferences and congresses.

Platforms for networking and better animal welfare: Congresses in the veterinary field in Leipzig

Leipzig is an internationally recognised centre for veterinary medicine. The city owes this reputation in part to the renowned Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Leipzig, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. Zoo Leipzig is also one of the best zoological gardens in Europe, with a focus on providing the best possible conditions for the animals as well as making a significant contribution to research and conservation.

In 2024, Leipzig will be hosting influential veterinary congresses that will benefit from the excellent local conditions for research and science – and provide an important platform for stakeholders to come together from across the industry.
