Salles de Pologne

Events and conferences in a former baroque hotel

Neo-baroque elegance meets contemporary spatial concept: the Salles de Pologne in the former Hôtel de Pologne offer an exceptional setting for events, conferences, celebrations or business meetings. The building is steeped in history. On the upper floor there are five high-quality meeting rooms, the largest of which can accommodate up to 200 people.

Here you and your delegates can get a feel for the centuries-old history of the building: originally two inns, the building was amalgamated in the mid-19th century to become one of the city’s largest inns and first hotels. In 1890 the hotel was remodelled in the Florentine Renaissance style. The two neo-baroque ballrooms, which still exist today, were built on the first floor of the hotel complex: the Baroque Hall and the Swan Hall were extensively restored between 2011 and 2014 and provide an exceptional setting for events for up to 400 guests. You can also end your conference day with an unforgettable evening spent on the event terrace overlooking the city.

The former Hôtel de Pologne is also conveniently located in the centre of Leipzig, within easy reach of the best venues for the perfect supporting programme.

Design Offices Leipzig Post

Your conference in the former main post office

The Design Offices on Augustusplatz are located in the building of the former main post office, which was a communications hub in GDR times. Today, the building stands at one of Leipzig’s central transport hubs, close to the busy main railway station, and boasts an impressive listed façade. Inside, the history of Leipzig comes to life: in the original, preserved former counter hall of the main post office, there are still the original telephone booths from the time before German reunification. Spread over six floors, this historic setting houses twelve state-of-the-art conference rooms as well as flexible office and coworking space.

The meeting rooms can accommodate up to 180 people. They vary in size and design. Each room has its own style, from understated to brightly coloured. In addition to the visual feast offered by the venue itself, a comprehensive and individually bookable catering service is available to provide your delegates with plenty of culinary delights.

The venue also stands out for its commitment to sustainable events. The workspaces are designed to conserve resources, with green electricity providing the necessary power and carbon offsetting creating climate neutrality. The venue’s commitment to sustainability fits perfectly with the city of Leipzig’s goal of hosting and supporting sustainable events.
